April Showers Bring Massive Amounts of Flowers...I guess and raging hormones!

I never thought I'd do it. But I am making plans to make my exodus from Macon. Excited is hardly the word. Greg and I spent all day last Tuesday looking for a perch for our retirement. We found it and we hope it all works out soon. My patience is being tried but I am working on it. More later..when I feel safe enough to spill it all. Pics to come. :)

On another note, the weather here is whacked. It is April and it is truly living up to the old adage of April Showers..something or another...If it is indeed the case, we should have an abundant amount of flowers in May.

And further...today a middle school boy lost his mind temporarily with me. After I had asked him on two different occasions this morning to remove some rubber bands from his arm, the third time I saw him I told him to go ahead and take them off his arms and he replied that he was. However, he was not actually doing it, thus I said, "Well, you are not doing it fast enough". His reply was evidently a brain fart on his part. He said, as he was walking away...from me, clearly NOT thinking I could hear a rabbit pee on cotton, but I could...he said...."You're not sucking my **** fast enough". You KNOW I was a little stunned that he would say that, but I should not have been. The sarcastic me wanted to say, kid you couldn't be so lucky...but Ididn't say that. Instead I maintained my composure and attempted to talk with him and hope he could see the error of his ways...NOT.
I wanted to smack him in his big head..and to tell him that he needed his butt beat but I didn't say that either. He was not even making eye contact with me and never apologized. I wrote him up. It will be interesting to see what kind of punishment he receives. One thing is for sure, he has burned his bridges with me...and unfortunately for him, it is not one that he will be able to build back given the nature of his comments to me and given my docile approach to correcting him in the first place. I guess sometimes you just can't be nice. Don't know for sure what I learned about this today...
